Hotel 3D rendering and virtual tours before the property opens, and after

Start a project

For hotel and restaurant owners before opening. Renders to settle the design and market the property, a rendered 360° tour before it opens and a photographed one after.

Who it is for

A hotel or a restaurant has to be shown to investors, operators and guests before it is finished. We make 3D renders of the rooms and public areas, a 360° tour rendered from the design, and a photographed 360° tour once the property is ready.

This page is for owners and project teams of hotels, resorts, restaurants, cafes and bars. It follows a property from design to opening and says what we make at each point. The interiors shown below are homes and apartments. A guest room, a lobby or a dining room is modelled and lit the same way. The studio is in Prabhadevi, Mumbai.

Where it helps

  • 01

    Renders to settle the design

Views of the guest rooms, the lobby, the restaurant and the bar, made from your designer's drawings, so that owner, operator and designer agree before fit-out.

  • 02

    Renders to market the property

The same views finished for the website, the sales deck and the press, before there is anything to photograph.

  • 03

A rendered 360° tour before opening

A guest or an event planner clicks through the room types and the banquet hall on a phone while the site is still under construction.

  • 04

A photographed 360° tour after opening

We capture the finished property with a 360° camera and build a tour in which the visitor clicks the floor to move.

  • 05

    Lunch service and dinner service

A restaurant or a lobby looks different at midday and at night. A finished render can be re-lit with AI for both, with the design unchanged.

From design to opening

A property is shown four times between design and opening. The first three use one 3D model of the design. The fourth is photographed in the finished building.

Renders for the design, then for marketing

A hotel 3D render is first used to make decisions. The owner, the operator and the interior designer look at the same picture of the guest room and agree on the layout, the finishes and the lighting before anything is ordered.

Once the design is agreed, the same views are finished for marketing: a room of each category, the lobby, the restaurant and the banquet hall. People search for restaurant 3D design. We do not design the restaurant. We make the 3D views of the design your interior designer has drawn.

A virtual tour for hotels, rendered or photographed

A virtual tour is a set of 360° views joined together. The visitor clicks the floor to move from one spot to the next and drags to look around. On a phone, the visitor tilts the phone to look around. The tour embeds in your website and needs no app.

Before opening, the tour is rendered from the 3D model, so it shows the rooms as designed. After opening, we photograph the real rooms with an Insta360 camera and build the tour from those pictures. The live 360° tours on our home page include a hotel suite shot this way.

What we need from you

For renders and a rendered tour, we work from the design team's drawings. For a photographed tour, we need the property finished and the rooms set up for capture.

  • Floor plans and interior drawings of each room type and public area
  • The material and lighting specification, or the designer's mood boards
  • Furniture, fittings and artwork selections
  • A SketchUp, Revit or 3ds Max model, if the designer has one
  • For a photographed tour: the list of rooms and areas to include
  • Access to those rooms when they are set up and clear of guests

What decides the cost

Renders are quoted per view. A guest room that repeats across a floor is modelled once, so a hotel with a few room categories needs far fewer models than it has rooms. A lobby or a banquet hall takes more modelling than a guest room, because it is larger and more detailed.

A 360° tour is quoted per viewpoint, the spot a visitor stands on. A rendered viewpoint costs more than a photographed one, because the room has to be built in 3D first. The quote lists the views, the viewpoints, the revision rounds and the schedule.

Questions

How much do hotel 3D rendering and a virtual tour cost?

Renders are quoted per view and a tour per viewpoint, which is each spot a visitor can stand on. The price depends on the number of room types and public areas, and on whether the tour is rendered or photographed. Send the list of spaces for a quote.

Can you make a virtual tour of a hotel that is not built yet?

Yes. A rendered 360° tour is made from the 3D model of the design, so guests and event planners can look around the rooms before the property opens.

Do guests need an app or a headset to view a hotel virtual tour?

No. The tour opens in a web browser on a phone or a computer. On a phone, the guest tilts the phone to look around.

Can the tour go on our own website?

Yes. The tour embeds in a web page. We send the link and the embed code, and your web developer places it on the page you choose.

When should the photographed tour be shot?

When the rooms are fully set up, the lighting works and the areas can be kept clear of guests and staff during capture. Just before opening is usually the easiest time.

Can you photograph a property outside Mumbai?

Renders and rendered tours need no visit, because they are made from drawings. A photographed tour needs a camera on site. Tell us where the property is, and the quote says whether and how the capture can be arranged.
