CGI and AI ads for D2C brands product films, stills and creator-style videos

Start a project

Product films and stills in CGI, brand films made with AI, and creator-style videos for paid ads, with the product kept accurate in all of them.

Who it is for

A D2C brand needs new ads regularly, and the product has to look right in every one. We make CGI product films and stills, AI brand films and AI UGC-style videos, with the pack modelled accurately in 3D first.

This page is for founders, growth leads and brand managers. It follows a product from launch to scale and says which kind of ad fits each point. CGI means the product is built in 3D and filmed inside the computer. A CGI ad is the usual Indian name for that kind of product film. UGC means user-generated content, the phone-shot review style that creators post. AI UGC is the same style made without a creator shoot.

Where it helps

  • 01

    CGI product films

The product modelled in 3D and filmed in close detail: texture, liquid, moving parts, the pack turning to camera. Cut for product pages, reels and ads.

  • 02

    Product stills without a shoot

Pack shots on a plain background and hero images in a setting, rendered from the same model in every colour and size you sell.

  • 03

    AI brand films

A campaign film with people, places and a story, directed shot by shot. The product in it is kept accurate to the real pack.

  • 04

    AI UGC-style videos

Creator-style review videos made without a shoot, in several versions, so you can test different openings and messages in paid ads.

  • 05

Shapes and lengths for each platform

Vertical, square and wide versions, and short and long edits, are listed in the quote and delivered together.

Work in this field

Product films, an AI brand campaign and AI UGC, for grooming, skincare and electronics products.

Which ad fits which stage

The right format depends on where the product is. A launch needs images of a product that may still be at the factory. A brand that is scaling paid ads needs many versions to test.

CGI or AI, and where each one goes wrong

CGI is exact. The product is modelled to its real shape and label, so every frame shows the pack as it is sold. It suits close-ups, liquids, exploded views and any shot where the product fills the frame. Each new scene is new work.

AI is quick at people, places and atmosphere. Left alone, it changes a logo, a cap or a colour from one shot to the next. For AI ads for D2C products we model the pack in 3D first and direct the AI scenes around it. Our Clinique Winter Glow campaign is three connected films, from a product hero shot to a Delhi launch teaser.

AI UGC for paid ads

A UGC ads agency sends your product to creators and delivers the videos they film. AI UGC makes the same phone-shot review format without the shoot. The framing, the gestures and the setting are directed to look like a creator's video, and the script can change from one version to the next.

It is useful when you want many versions of one message, or when the product cannot be sent to creators yet. It must not be presented as a real customer's opinion.

What we need to start

For CGI, the product has to be measured before it can be modelled. For AI films and AI UGC, we also need to know who the ad is for and what it must say.

  • Product CAD, or a sample we can measure and photograph
  • Label and packaging artwork, as print files
  • Brand colours, fonts and any existing ads to match or avoid
  • The message, the offer and the audience for each ad
  • Where each ad will run, so the shapes and lengths are right
  • References for the look, from any brand

What decides the cost

A CGI product film is quoted by its length, per second, because every second is modelled, lit and rendered. The price moves with the number of scenes, with liquids and moving parts, and with how many cuts you need. Stills are quoted per image.

An AI brand film is quoted by its length and by the scenes, characters and locations the story needs. AI UGC is quoted per video, and extra versions of one script cost less than new scripts. Product video for D2C brands is usually ordered as a set, so tell us the whole plan and we quote the items together.

Questions

How much do CGI and AI ads cost for a D2C brand?

They are quoted after a brief. A CGI film is priced by its length, stills per image, an AI brand film per film and AI UGC per video. Send the product, the list of ads and where they will run for a quote.

Are you a D2C ads agency?

We are a production studio in Mumbai. We make the product films, stills, AI films and UGC-style videos. We do not buy media or manage social accounts, so your own team or your ads agency runs the campaigns.

Will the AI keep my pack, logo and colours accurate?

Yes. The pack is modelled in 3D from your artwork and the AI scenes are directed around that model, so the label and the colours stay as they are on the real product.

Is AI UGC legal?

It is a question of consent, disclosure and platform rules. Realistic AI content should be labelled where the platform asks for it, and no real person's likeness is used without permission. Check the current rules for your market before you run the ads.

Does AI UGC work as well as creator UGC?

It depends on the product and the audience, and we do not publish performance figures. AI UGC gives you more versions to test. Creator UGC gives you a real person's own words. You can run both and compare.

3D rendering or product photography: which should a new brand choose?

Photography suits a product that exists and comes in a few variants. 3D rendering suits a range with many colours or sizes, a product that is not made yet, or shots that are hard to photograph, such as liquids and cutaways.
